Private Tennis Lessons Edinburgh

We are proud to offer private tennis lessons at a selection of venues around Edinburgh and the Lothians for players of all abilities.

Lessons are delivered by highly experienced and LTA qualified tennis coaches Michael Millar and Finn Mclean and can be delivered to an individual or a small group.

"We have been really delighted with every aspect of Michael's teaching, the sessions are always fun, engaging and challenging whilst remaining accessible and friendly so even when new to them our son felt happy and confident.

The one to one lessons have been very helpful with great technical input which he is finding very inspiring and effective.

As a bonus, the camaraderie amongst players in the Edinburgh Tennis classes is great to see and they offer a fantastic pathway to progression, we can highly recommend them."

"Following a friend's recommendation, Michael has been coaching our 9 year old son for the last couple of years. With Michael's guidance, my son regularly competes in LTA tournaments and is part of the 10U East of Scotland squad.

He has a great rapport with children, boundless enthusiasm and makes learning fun! He is committed to developing skills, instilling a love of the game and his lessons are well-structured and varied, keeping young players engaged. Michael is friendly and professional and communicates well with both children and parents alike. Highly recommended."

"Michael coached my two boys tennis 2 hours a week for the last couple of months and it's been great.

The children love training with him and made good progress. It was great to have the children being taught by someone other than us and allowed the children to learn something new in an stimulating manner. We can really see it when we play tennis with them.

Michael is kind and engages the children in fun games. He also liaises well with parents. I recommend working with Michael."

"Michael is an experienced tennis coach who has been coaching both my sons over the last four years in either small group lessons or on a one to one basis.

He is a brilliant tennis coach who manages to achieve a positive learning experience in all of his lessons. Pupils remain fully engaged throughout the duration of a class through interesting drills, creative games, having fun, but at the same time making sure that the focus remains on the task at hand.

He is quick to recognise areas for improvement and will adapt using various techniques to achieve that."
